Update October 2024

*** UPDATE OCTOBER 2024 ***

At the moment more than 1 million people – that’s 20% of the entire population of Lebanon – are internally displaced due to the Israeli bombardments on Lebanon. According to the UN, one quarter of entire population is under Israeli evacuation ‘orders’. Families flee from their homes in the South of the country or in some neighbourhoods of the capital Beirut for safer places. Most have noweere to go – they sleep in temporary shelters such as schools, or in public parks, on the beach or in the streets.

Due to this dramatic situation, Lebanon Trust is now collecting funds to help these displaced people, through our trusted partners on the ground. They distribute meals and emergency kits, with mattresses, blankets, hygiene products.

Thank you for your generosity!
